The International Workshop on Smart Environments and Analytics in Video-Based Learning (SE@VBL) will take place on April 26th, 2016 in Edinburgh, Scotland. SE@VBL is organized in conjunction with the 6th Conference on Learning Analytics & Knowledge.

Summary

The International Workshop on Smart Environments and Analytics in Video-Based Learning (SE@VBL) aims to connect research efforts in Video-Based Learning with Smart Environments and Analytics to create synergies between these fields. SE@VBL aims to develop a critical discussion about the next generation of video-based learning environments and their analytics, the form of these analytics, their visualizations and the way they can be analyzed in order to help us to better understand and improve the value of educational videos to support teaching and learning. This can have a significant impact in current video-based learning environments as well as educational trends such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Flipped Classroom.
